Make your way to New Belgium Brewing, located in the River Arts District for a free 90-minute tour. You'll get an up close look at the brewing process and sample different beers. With two Asheville locations in Biltmore Village and South Slope, Catawba Brewing Company is dedicated to creating unique, small-batch beers that are inspired by community, folklore, and lifestyle. The production facility is located in Morganton, where the brewhouse makes the nine flagship beers. Biltmore and Southslope both have convenient tasting rooms, where you can sample your favorites. A fourth location just opened in Charlotte.

 

Wedge Brewing Company is a neighborhood brewery with two locations in the heart of Asheville's River Arts District. Wedge Studios anchors the dock level of the 100-year old building, housing artist's studios on the other floors. The 10BBL brewery and tasting room has an expansive outdoor seating area for guests. The other location, Wedge at Fountain, is located a mile away from Wedge Studios and is known for its large graffiti murals. Enjoy the small batch beers brewed at the Wedge and sold at the Wedge.

 

Recognized as one of the best beer bars in the world, Thirsty Monk Brewery offers a rotating selection of beers on tap at their three Asheville locations in downtown, Biltmore Park, and at Brother Joe's Coffee Pub. The Thirsty Monk brand also includes Top of the Monk, a craft cocktail bar. With hundreds events each year, ranging from new beer releases to full-scale festivals, Thirsty Monk always has something on tap for your drinking pleasure.

 

As one of North Carolina's original breweries, Green Man has been brewing ales in Asheville since 1997. Their legendary ales have been consistently recognized for quality as well as loyalty to traditional English styles.
