Collecting America’s Story with Lucy the Van – Blog #7
Welcome back to Where's Lucy the Van? Guess correctly where Lucy has visited, Collecting America's Story, and you will earn a Coaster Card of the featured C2C Site, and a chance to win special giveaways from selected C2C Sites.
Hints for this featured C2C Site: In June, Lucy honks her horn and beckon us – and YOU – to join her in a special trek to honor the "Red, White, and Blue." First, on June 6th, we go to a small town in the Shenandoah Valley to visit a special memorial to those Americans who lost their lives on June 6, 1944 – "D-Day". Then, on Flag Day – June 14th – we head to the place where a very special "Star Spangled Banner" was made.
If you know waht C2C site Lucy took us to on D-Day this year, and what town and state it's in, click here to make your guess, Lucy will let you know if you're right. If you are, she will email you a coupon that you can exchange at the site for your C2C coaster card of that site, similiar to the one shown here of C2C Site MD#13 – Surratt House Museum. We will also enter your name into a monthly drawing for a free gift from one of our featured sites. Your information will not be used or shared for solicitation purposes without your expressed consent.
If you've logged into the Where's Lucy? Blog series on AAA Talks before, you know that Lucy the Van is taking us – AAA Members Lynne and Roger Gerber – all over the United States as we choose Coast to Coast Sites. Each Coast to Coast (C2C) Site must tell an important part of America's Story that we think:
- More people should know about – and visit!
- Has a Wow! Factor
- Is worth the trip!
Don't forget to guess which C2C site Lucy was visiting in this Where's Lucy? blog. Also, check out the other AAA Talks blog in the Where's Lucy? series so that you can get free coaster cards when you join us – and Lucy – in traveling from site to site, Collecting America's Story!
