Senior drivers are often the safest on the roads. However, they also have the highest chance of being seriously injured or killed in the event of a crash, due to the fragility of their aging bodies (Source: NHTSA). CarFit aims to prevent that by fitting drivers to their car in the best way.

CarFit is a free educational program developed by AAA, AARP and the American Occupational Therapy Association. It provides older drivers the opportunity to check how well their vehicle “fits” them.

At each CarFit event, a team of trained professionals works with each participant, and appointments only take about 20 minutes!

You’ll learn 12 key areas of your fit to your car and how to use and adjust safety devices to best fit you.

Below are local CarFit events coming to a town near you.
