The 33rd annual NC Seafood Festival in Morehead City is the state’s largest three-day festival and offers an abundance of seafood, rides, concerts and more family fun entertainment.

Festivities kickoff a night early with the Low Country Boil at The Cove in Katherine Davis Park. Continuing the festival’s focus on community, all the food at this event is prepared by Carteret Community College Culinary School students. In addition to all the great food, guests can also get a sneak peak of this year’s new NC Seafood Festival layout and listen to live music by Bryan McCoury.

The main event of the NC Seafood Festival begins at noon on Friday, October 4th and runs through Sunday. Everyday will feature a near endless supply of amazing seafood, live music across three stages, rides, games and more family entertainment.

On Saturday you can build up your appetite with the Triple Bridge Road Race (5k, 10K, half-marathon) and quench your thirst with the Port of Pours beer festival in the afternoon.

Early risers on Sunday can catch the Sailing Regatta starting at 8am before indulging in the final day of festivities.

NC Seafood Festival hours are:

• Friday, October 4th: 12pm – 11pm

• Saturday, October 5th: 10am – 11pm

• Sunday, October 6th: 11am – 5pm
