In 2015, Rolling Stone Magazine listed Shaky Knees Music Festival as one of its "50 Must-See Music Festivals" for that summer, and it's been a favorite Atlanta event ever since. Founded in 2013 by Tim Sweetwood, a booking agent for Masquerade Music Park, Shaky Knees was born out of a desire to bring Indie music to the city. What began as a two-day festival, has since expanded to include a third day, and features regional talent and artists from around the globe. The musical genres include indie rock, indie folk, country, and alternative rock.

More than 50 artists featuring Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age, and The National, will headline this year's show on May 4th-6th at Central Park in Atlanta. Other artists include David Byrne, the newly reunited Distillers, Fleet Foxes, The War on Drugs, Tenacious D, Vance Joy, Jimmy Eat World, and Cake, among others. Performances in years past have included Jane's Addiction, The Lumineers, Band of Horses, Alabama Shakes, Cage the Elephant, Huey Lewis and the News, and many more.

Single day general admission, general admission 3-day tickets, VIP 3-day, and Platinum 3-day tickets are available for purchase and range in price from $99 to over $1,500. With over 60 performances, vendors, concessions, and food from local and regional restaurants, a general admission ticket will give you admission to the park. Enjoy various food options including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free choices. VIP experiences offer access to the VIP lounge, a viewing platform with premium sightlines, complimentary beer and water, a cash bar, and dedicated air conditioned restrooms. In addition to all the VIP perks, the Platinum ticket provides access to the main stage, a private open bar, a complimentary catered dinner, and a special gift.
