Travel Sales Specialist Tiffany Heinisch has been with AAA Carolinas for more than six years. During that time, she has found her biggest challenge to be the Internet. “Many clients come in and have read or researched so much on the computer that they end up more confused or overwhelmed than before they started planning their trip,” she said. “I tell my clients that the Internet is full of opinions, and I’m here to give you the truth in the details and help make planning their memories as easy as possible.”
The best client story Heinisch has heard came from a lady whose husband had always wanted to take her to Greece. “He had an entire itinerary planned out on paper of where they would go,” she recalled. “Unfortunately, he passed away before they were able to take the trip. She came in the office one day with the piece of paper, and said she wanted to do that exact trip. Her daughter’s mother-in-law had agreed to do the trip with her. We put the trip together for them and they had a fabulous time and made some great memories together!”
Heinisch’s favorite place to recommend for first-time travelers is Ireland, because it is welcoming and beautiful. Her personal favorite destination is the South Pacific: Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti. “Each place is so different and unique, but they have hints of each other in them,” she said. “Getting to spend time with the Aboriginals and the Maori people shows you how others embrace their culture.” Her travel partner of choice is her husband, who she first travelled with for their honeymoon to Hawaii.
When it comes to AAA Travel, Heinisch admires their great relationships with vendors and companies all over the world. “As a company, we are able to offer our members benefits and extra enhancements that they wouldn’t be able to get on their own.”
