Chateau Elan Winery & Resort

Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, located in Braselton, Georgia, has been a lure for travelers for almost 32 years. And now, after $25 million in design renovations, the resort is even more magnificent.

Grand, enormous and upscale, this estate, inspired by a 16th-century French chateau, boasts luxury accommodations, 45 holes of manicured golf courses, gorgeous gardens and a lovely swimming pool, many restaurants (even an Irish pub!), tennis courts, meeting facilities and of course, the winery. Chateau Elan produces acres of native muscadine grapes and imports other vinifera varieties from California and Italy. The winery also offers various tasting flights and tours.

If you have an opportunity, visit the onsite 10,000-square-foot Panoz Museum, which showcases some amazing cars. Owned by the late Don Panoz, founder of Chateau Elan, Panoz is a manufacturer of exclusive American-made luxury sports cars.
