Post-Hurricane Maria Update
Puerto Rico had a tough time recently with Hurricane Maria causing over $80 billion dollars in damages. Yet despite setbacks, tourism is back on in Puerto Rico.
There are very good reasons to visit this warm U.S. territory. Almost all of Puerto Rico’s hotels are open for business. White sandy beaches are ready for swimming, boating and sunbathing, and even remote places to visit, like El Yunque rainforest, are receiving visitors again.
The crowds have mostly vanished, prices are generally lower than on the mainland U.S., and many hotels used the hurricane’s aftermath to upgrade and refurbish their properties. If you want to help the islanders and have a good time doing it, book a trip to Puerto Rico, now!
